I don't get this... following the process, getting your dream jobs, earning big money thing.
I come from a family that places rather huge hopes on me...
Not that I'm affected though, I don't really care
What worries me however, is the fact that all they push on me, are all jobs that society deems as 'good'. Like doctors, lawyers and others. I interrupted my mother halfway to test her.
I said: 'I actually... am a bit interested in wildlife'
She never addressed my reply.
Maybe its just my family.
Maybe its just me.
To me, passion and dreams outweigh such social norms.
I have never, ever wanted to submit to such norms.
